This dance class will give children the opportunity to explore movement and dance through possible themes such as animals, weather, letters, numbers, or shapes. They will begin to understand their bodies, the joints and distal points, and how they relate to the exterior world that surrounds us. The children will have the chance to use their energy for play, exploration, and creativity. The movement that they produce will be uniquely theirs, a specific technique and set of steps will not be the main focus in the class, but rather fostering a place for the children to create movement that they produce and make up, thus engaging their own creativity and the mind.
