MEXICAN FIESTA COOKING CAMP
Your camper will have the opportunity to learn basic cooking skills such as measuring, chopping, grating, and following a recipe using the ingredients provided in camp. A variety of techniques, tools and methods will be used to create a delicious and healthy menu. Each day your child will bring home recipes and treats to share with family and friends!! Campers will create their own cookbooks and design their own aprons. All supplies are provided. Please notify the recreation staff if your child has specific food allergies.
Campers will venture South of the Border with Mexican Fiesta Cooking Camp. Participants will cook and enjoy everything from appetizers, to main dishes and desserts throughout the week. Items on the menu will include all the traditional favorites such as tacos and quesadillas, as well as creative new dishes like Mexican pizza. So grab your aprons and your oven mitts ‘cause things are heating up in the kitchen.
