Belvedere-Tiburon Community Recreation is pleased to collaborate with two great community organizations to offer Swim and Tennis Camps this summer! Camp includes a half-hour swim lesson at the Tiburon Peninsula Club and a 1½ hour tennis lesson with Higgins Tennis Inc. daily. Your child will be given excellent swim and tennis instruction in a group setting from qualified professionals.
Tennis Instruction
The tennis lesson focuses on developing basic skills and learning how to play tennis using modified balls, court size, scoring and rules. Emphasis will be on having fun through game play and team competition.
Swim Instruction
Campers are divided according to swimming ability for their lesson at the TPC. There is a 1 to 4 camper to instructor ratio in the pool. Many of the instructors have participated in years of competitive swimming and all have one to two years of experience teaching young children.
The recreation staff will accompany campers to the TPC for swimming lessons after their tennis lesson. The staff will assist them in the locker rooms and wait poolside as campers participate in the lesson. At the conclusion of the swimming lessons, the recreation staff will assist campers in the locker room and supervise your child until you arrive. Please bring a lunch, water, swim suit, goggles, towel and sunscreen to camp each day. Pick up your child at the TPC.
